Happy Birthday Afton!

I can't believe that my little baby girl is one. This year definitely went by so fast. She has been the best addition to our little family. She has so much life and love that I can't imagine what we did without her. She doesn't talk much yet but she makes sure you know she is there. And she is attached to her mommy. She had a great birthday with a lot of clothes and toys and of course cake! I have to be careful with her because I think she might be my junk food baby! She also started walking this week. She still a little wobbly but getting there. We are so blessed to have her in our lives and can't wait to see what the future will bring. We love her so much and happy birthday to our little princess! (ok she hates getting her picture taken nevermind she hated the dress my mom and I made for her.)

3 Years Old!

Well my baby boy is three years old. Time has gone by so fast. It really feels like not so long ago he was just my little baby. He has brought so much joy and excitement into our lives. He makes me crack up at least once a day. He also is such a wonderful big brother and helps out when he is in the mood. As part of his birthday I took him to Disney Live. He has been asking to go see Mickey Mouse so i figured this would be a cheaper way. But he loved it and was so excited to see all of his favorite characters. He planned his own birthday. He wanted a batman and spiderman party. So we made some decorations and Grandma Joyce made his batman cake (which looked amazing!). He wanted chicken nuggets and tater tots for dinner. And of course his grandparents spoiled him again. And finally got his "knockers". He has been wanting some binoculars and had been calling them "knockers" but we finally got that corrected. He is getting so big and I can't wait so see all that comes in the future.

Just a little update

Well is over. Well kind of. We just did our latest move last week. Its been crazy of course but we are very excited.  Well we are trying to get settled but our blinds were supposed to come in two weeks ago but what do you know still not here! So we have lovely paper on our windows. Our front door is still not finished so we have a temp door. And we can't get the HUGE builders sign out of the ground in the front yard so it looks like the house is still a work in progress. But home sweet home none the less. And good news just today . . . . We sold our other house! It sure feels good to know that we won't have to pay for two houses soon. So here are a few pictures of the kids "helping" work on the house. 

Christmas 2008

Well another CHristmas has come and gone. And this year was so much fun. I guess it just gets better as our family grows. We spent Christmas Eve with my family. My mom was trying to soak in all the family being together for Christmas Eve and Christmas morning because we said that this is going to be our last Christmas sending the night because next year we are just staying home. Hauling presents and kids was just getting too much. Well Santa listened and got Carson what he wanted. He wanted this huge remote control Dinosaur. And he just has a ball with it. It actually does a lot of fun stuff. Its nice because Carson really wants a dog and this dinosaur has taken the place of that. It acts just like a dog but just with a remote control and I can just turn him off! Afton got a little kitchen and just loves to press the buttons and make noise. But her favorite toy just might be the cute walker stroller my mom got her. She thinks she is just so big walking around.
Well after some breakfast and some wii playing (my sister got it for Christmas) we headed up to Dustins parents up in Idaho. The roads were horrible. But we got there safely and the kids got spoiled again. We had a great time hanging out with family over Christmas. And Carson of course had a great time playing with the cousins.
And now we head into a new year. It will be interesting to see what this next year brings. Happy New Year!

Merry Christmas!

Well Christmas kind of snuck up on me. Sounds funny I know but I am sure some of you know exactly what I am talking about. It feels like Christmas is so far away but then all of a sudden tomorrow is Christmas Eve! I have been so busy with this and that. So I am sorry for not getting my Christmas cards out this year but I do want to thank all of those who did send them to me. I just love getting them and seeing your pictures. Well maybe next year right? 

This past weekend we went up to Idaho for Dustin's family party. It was fun spending time with the cousins. Dustin and I have been working on getting the house ready for the final inspection. Which we will hopefully be moving in next week if everything goes as planned. Which it usually doesn't so maybe the week after. Here are a few pictures taken over the last few weeks.
